The best place to be close to the forest of Mgahinga. The nights are cold and there is nothing better than a warm fire in the living room. The night is full of stars and the scent of flowers. In the morning we are at a moment of departure for Golden Monkeys, gorillas or climb volcanoes. Excellent and very economical. Profits go to local communities.

We spent here three nights and we had a great time!
If you are looking for an authentic camping experience, great local food (bravo for the chef Jonas) and extremely friendly people, that's the place to choose! Plus, it's very close to the main gate. We will come back! :)

Thanks again for the good conversations!
Simple but charming, close to nature and quiet accommodation right at the trailhead with good views of the national park. The people are also very helpful, organised and friendly. Thanks again for the good conversations! Besides, you support the local community with your overnight stay. We can only hope that the road will be repaired soon, because the approach road is really quite challenging for the vehicle
